What would you wanna see with a possible Capcom vs. game?

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite came and went and from the talk around that game, it seems as if Capcom's working relationship with Marvel isn't in a place where another MvC game is possible.

However, Capcom has worked with plenty of other licences to make other versus-like games.

So assuming there is another Capcom vs. game coming along, who do you wanna see the Capcom crew take on?

Some more SNK? Some Tatsunoko? Just say fuck it and toss Square into the arena?

Capcom Vs Capcom has been floated on this site a lot and it makes a bunch of sense.

What would be really cool, but would probably not happen, would be Capcom Vs ArcSys.

A Capcom crossover game with their own properties that in no way has Versus game mechanics. Just gimme a straight up 1 on 1 capcom fighter.

@imhungry: Would Capcom be able to make that? I feel like ArcSys's art department is flying way above everyone else at the moment, imitating that style could be a disaster.

Me personally, i don't really have any affinity for most Capcom characters, especially in Street Fighter, but i think they could make a cool Capcom vs Capcom game, and it's probably the only way we'll see Gene from God Hand in a fighting game, also they made a "Monster Hunter" for MVCI, i'd like to see a version of a Dragon's Dogma character, the combat in that game was really good so i don't see any problem translating it to a fighting game.

Capcom vs Capcom or a Capcom invasion in Smash (all the characters in a fight pass being Capcom characters) might be interesting

Going outside of Hasbro (and trying to remain in the world of reality), I would be down for Capcom vs.

1) Sega

2) Sony

3) Square Enix

Man, I want to see a Capcom vs. SNK 3 happen really badly. I feel like even if they made it just a 3D version of CvS 2 but with an updated roster and grooves people would be all over it.

@cikame: Oh absolutely. Ideally it would definitely be Capcom giving ArcSys the license to develop, which again is highly improbable. But if they were allowed to work on Capcom characters with the same kind of flair they brought to all the varied styles in Cross Tag then that's probably what I would most want.
