What's the biggest thing you've skipped for the sake of gaming?

Me?

Nothing big, just a night of sleep or a chance to go outside and do something productive...lol

I've never waited in line for a system except for a ps3. Totally worth it.........

School....

School, but I skipped that anyway because I hated it so much. Went in for registration then went home again, never got caught surprisingly.

I faked sick a long time ago so I could stay home and play Halo on my computer, but I don't skip school anymore because I don't like the make up work involved the day you go back.

Women

I've never really skipped in the traditional way. It's been times like, when I get a new game, ones that my mom likes watching me play, or playing herself and she's like, "You should stay home and play Zelda today" or "You're sick right? Good then you can stay home and play Harvest Moon with me tomorrow."

I get pretty good grades and rarely miss a day, but every once in a while she'll just suggest that I stay home to play a game with her or something. She loves watching Zelda and likes Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing games.

im ashamed to say, sex.   there have been nights (yes plural) when i know the wife wants to, but im on a roll on cod4 or just REALLY into a game and am a little blind to the subtle hints...  man, i am lucky to have such an understanding wife,  and a very friendly mailwoman... umm?

A date.

Lots of stuff. School work, tests, skipped school sometimes. But the biggest thing is destroying my social life.

School for Brawl.

I got GTA IV at a midnight launch. I stayed up that night to play it, then didn't go into Uni the next day so I could carry on playing it.

Work but my uncle was my supervisor at the time so he allowed me to miss work :P

The biggest for me would be vaccinations.

Some sleep, here and there.

I took a day off work to play Dragon Quest 8, the game was addictive at that time.

Skateboarding. ! MAN! I can't believe i did that!  It's far more important than sleeping, for me, and I skipped it for gaming.
