What's the crappiest MMO you've ever played?

Runescape... by far

If you've only played one MMO, that one MMO has to be the crappiest right, even if it's not even crappy?

runescape.  I have a friend that sits on that piece of shit all day long.  It looks like it was made in 1992.

Runescape. I tried on three different occasions to get into that game and just couldn't find any appealing aspect about it at all.

I thought Asheron's Call was pretty horrible.  In game YMCA dance emote with flashy effects?  *barf*
 
The tiny bit of Runescape I tried even seemed better.

Like everyone else, Runescape. Sure it was the only MMO I've ever played but my God it was awful.

That's a toughy. Its a tie between Runescape and 12Sky. Runescape because I don't know how that game is still alive and how the hell it runs with multiple people. The way the graphics looks, it just looks like it can't handle more than 4 people on 1 screen.

Lord of the Rings Online was the worst MMO I have ever played. The graphics were terrible and character creator was horrendous. Everybody looked the same!

Shitty-ass Ultima Online.  I still couldn't believe it when I logged into the game & 
all it wanted me to do for the next several months (years) was work on a craft
system!  No combat. No dungeons. No action.  It was totally worthless.

I've played Runescape, WoW and EVE. EVE was the only one I liked remotely.

I played some MMO called The 4th Coming (T4C for short) that was ridiculously bad. The world was small and artificially enlargened by the fact that you could not run, only walk incredibly slowly. The graphics were crude Diablo-inspired isometric 2D that actually looked pretty good from what I remember, but there was no attention to detail. Huge areas could contain nothing but trees and grass that looked exactly the same for ridiculous distances. Everyone's character looked the same, there was no customization of any kind except you could choose sex. No loot to speak of (at least not until the very end game), you basically bought the standard kit from the store and then upgraded to a better standard kit every few levels. And I believe there was a total of two or three songs in the entire game.

i enjoy runescape, but i quit a long time ago... so WOW

Hellgate: London and Runescape are both pretty bad. Maple Story got on my nerves too though.

Anarchy Online.

World of Warcraft, but only because it was the only MMO I ever played, and I played it for 15 or so minutes. Thus, by the process of elimination it is both the best and the worst MMO I have ever played.

Of the MMOs that I can think of that I've played off the top of my head (WoW, LOTRO, GW, STO, RuneScape), my vote goes to STO.

Anybody who has played Anarchy Online and does not give that as an answer is a liar.

I have only ever played a trial version of World of Warcraft.
 
So WoW for me i guess.

i have played some mmo's that were so bad i have erased them from memory, hence i cannot remember the names.... the world of free to play mmorpgs is scary

RLO (RapeLay Online). That game sucked.

Hellgate: London, or EQ in retrospect.  I shudder to think of the hours I sunk into Everquest despite its many now-obvious shortcomings.
