What's your tv?
TV? I just have Lady GaGa sing directly into my ears at pitches that stimulate my optical nerves creating an image so clear it would kill mortal men.
My fiance and myself purchased a 40' 1080p Samsung at Best Buy last year. I can't say that I didn't have games like Mass Effect 2 and Final Fantasy 13 in mind when we got it. Plus we haggled them down $150 bucks which was nice.
40" Samsung 1080p HDTV.
Really nice TV. I used to have a 22" Sansui 720p, But I wanted a bigger 1080p screen for blu ray movies... I would have to say 40" is about as big as I would want a TV though... Any bigger and the picture quality for games (most are 720p) are pretty crappy.
I've got a 40" Bravia w1000 in the lounge room, and a 32" Samsung LED 6 series in this room.
The Samsung monsters the Bravia on every front (3000000:1 contrast ratio), only thing thats lacking on this screen is size. I was thinking of getting a big version of the 32 and replacing the lounge TV as my home theatre audio is quite good.

They look great but early adopters usually get burned. Kudos to you regardless, thats a fine-ass TV.
42" 1080p HDTV
I spent quite a while saving up for it and I love it. The picture as far as just watching standard cable isn't great... but it is totally watchable. However the 360 with the HDMI chord I bought looks amazing! I highly recommend it to anybody in SD... and I understand it is costly but I managed to save up for it so anybody can... you can get some great deals around christmas.
