In the last Beastcast Dan mentioned that RE VII was one of the few games he's finished and then immediately started over. The instant replay of a game (to me at least) is probably the greatest compliment you can give it. I haven't done this in years, and I'm not sure if it's down to there being fewer games that I considered worthy of an immediate second run-through or just my own lack of free time now that I'm a proper(ish) grownup. Probably a mix of the two.
Anyway, wondering which games people started from scratch immediately after beating and if there are any particular attributes they think a game must have to be worthy of such an accolade. Is Hitman tapping into some of this mojo with its new episodic format, perhaps?
Should mention the two games that sprung to mind when I started this: KOTOR and Dragon Age: Origins.
