I've never preordered a game before and I'm thinking starting to. Where do you guys go for preorders? I hear horror stories about both Gamestop and Amazon. BTW, the closest Gamestop is 35 minutes away. I have a nearby Wal-mart, but I have no idea if they would be any good (their employees always seem clueless.)
Where should I preorder?
I don't walmart does prorders and just don't bother you don't need to just go to the walmart when the game comes out and you'll get it no problem I've done that hundreds of times
I think Walmart only does Pre-orders for select games.
If you live that close to a Walmart I wouldn't really worry about Pre-ordering, you are basically guaranteed to be able to find the game you are looking for when it is released.
Pre-ordering is pretty much worthless. A game they make you pre order to get at gamestop, 99% of the time you can just walk into Best Buy or Target and just ask them for a copy.
That's why whenever I try to get a game from gamestop and the employees say, "you should have pre ordered," I just say, "no, I'll just go get it at Best Buy."

Around here when a popular game releases, if I don't have it preordered I don't get it. EB Games is the only store here that receives games close to the release date, the other stores usually don't have the game for almost a week.
"If you are going to pre-order a game, just walk into Gamestop and ask to reserve a copy. Done."What he said. I pre-order all of my games from Gamestop. The only time I didn't pre-order from Gamestop is when I pre-ordered Zelda: Wind Waker to get Zelda: Master Quest.

"ArchScabby said:well that's different. If it's just the game you're getting, or you don't care about any special edition stuff than, than preordering doesn't matter."Pre-ordering is pretty much worthless.
