Which Action game of E3 2012 impressed you the most?
I have to say Watch Dogs, but The Last of Us was really close. I voted for Watch Dogs simply for how unique and original its take on the open world was.
I was gonna say Watch Dogs, but I have a feeling it's scripted. Was gonna say Last of Us, the melee grittiness is amazing, but I have a feeling it'll pull an Uncharted sooner or later and feel too consoley.
Assassin's Creed 3 with the enhanced combat system, tree running/climbing, weather and snow, animal combat and so much more, wins it for me.
Last of Us seems the easy pick.
Picking Watch Dogs now seems odd. I'd like to see some actual gameplay before some target gameplay. It would be like picking Killzone 2 after their little 'demo'.

Sorry, forgot about that one. :P

Seriously? After the E3 coverage, I'm now more cautious than ever about RE6.
I laughed my ass off during that one scene where Leon was outrunning an explosion.
I'll say AC3 if only because I am already familiar with the series, and could tell easily what was an improvement or not. A lot of the other games have potential, but also seem either non-representative of the entire game (The Last of Us, Tomb Raider) or was essentially a proof-of-concept video (Watch Dogs). Runner-Up to Dishonored, btw

I was being sarcastic. Hahaha. Just thought the fact that RE6 was left out was proof alone of its quality, or lack thereof. :P

I probably should have left out Splinter Cell: Blacklist too. I only placed on the list because it was one of the more popular showings. Other than that, the series looks like it has lost its touch with its old fans. Now the series has turned into a Gears of War clone, and the fact Michael Ironside won't be returning adds insult to injury.

Borderlands 2.
Because Borderlands.
Borderlands is an action game, but I didn't put that on the list because I'm planning to make the same thread, but the only difference is that it covers Shooters.
Watch Dogs, although the action stuff was the least appealing part of the game.
The hacking stuff seems like it could potentially be very cool and I'm really interested to see what the multiplayer will be like.
The Last of Us, but only because I've now gone and played Far Cry 2 and learned that Far Cry 3's demo is probably not what that game is going to be.

*shrugs* It's my choice regardless. I still play Borderlands.
I'm a bit surprised nobody mentioned Rayman Legends. That game made the WiiU look more attractive than anything else shown surrounding it.
You mean, there were games at E3 that weren't action games?
BA-ZING!
But no really, I thought Last of Us looked intriguing and potentially pretty different, so I voted for that.
Probably Star Wars because it's basically the type of Star Wars game I want to play, and well, of course the graphics. Also, I picked Dead Space 3, even if it didn't necessarily "impress" me. Heh, heh, heh. I know, I should have picked Star Wars, but I didn't. Anyways, the thing about Star Wars 1313 is, while I agree that it was mainly because the visuals, you just don't get this side of Star Wars in other games or other media, which is the kind of thing I want. We know it's going to be a mature themed Star Wars, and that's great.
I'm going to say Splinter cell: Blacklist, I loved conviction and hope Blacklist can strike a similar mix of stealth and action but if not I'd go with Watch dogs it seems really interesting and has huge possibilities for the open world although I'm not sure it will live up to the possibilities the E3 demo suggested.
On a related note, the assassins creed 3 demo wasn't particularly impressive and I found the past 3 years of E3 demos for Brotherhood, revelations and assassins creed 2 pretty impressive especially the assassins creed 2 E3 demo that demo got me into the assassins creed series in the first place, it was awesome. The assassins creed 3 demos although there were 2 and one was very different to anything else in assassins creed, as well as a new character and setting it still felt something was missing. I'm still excited for assassins creed 3 just my opinion on this year's assassins creed E3 demo compared to previous years. (It is also not a good thing that I typed that last sentence)
