Which of these PS3/360 games are you most excited for? (September through December 2012 edition)
All of the above games have confirmed release dates. If a game is supposed to be released between September and December, but doesn't have a release date, I didn't add it.
Wouldn't have expected it but, looking at that list, it's PlayStation All-Stars. Definitely interested in some others there like Far Cry 3, but I think 2013 has more titles I'm interested in so far.
Though, not on that list, my vote would go to Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward and Paper Mario: Sticker Star (though I don't like how they keep on straying from what was TTYD).
I agree. Borderlands 2 looks great. I purchased Borderlands 1 exactly a month ago and I have put more time into it than most. I'm on my 2nd play through and loving it.
Dishonored, hopefully I'll have enough money so I won't have to give up Borderlands 2.
I am in such a mood for a stealth game right now it's ridiculous.
After those two my next purchase will probably be Hitman Absolution.
Besides those I'm very interested in seeing how Jet Set Radio HD turns out, probably won't buy it right away, but if it's done well I'll keep it in mind.
I'm very curious as to how Dishonored will turn out. On one hand, it looks downright amazing, like one of those cult classics that just gets better with age and stays relevant 10, 20, 30 years from now. On the other, I've seen a lot of people bemoan the developer and bring up its previous track record.
I can give a very, very good guess on what everything else on there is going to be and what measure of quality it will have. Not that none of them will be fun - many of them will almost surely be - but none of them have the same intrigue for me that Dishonored does.
EDIT: Holy shit, they're making a DBZ Budokai HD Collection?
Dishonored looks like a rip of Bioshock. One of the lead game designers of Dishonored, Harvey Smith, has been on Gametrailers Bonus Round the last few weeks. The guy dislikes everything, is very pretentious, and a dick. I had no plan of purchasing Dishonored but listening to this guy really turns me away...
This should not be a poll if you're asking what games we're excited for, especially when we can only pick one choice.
@BraveToaster: Sorry I should have said:
"Whichoneof these PS3/360 games are you most excited for?"
Isn't there one game you want more than the other?
I chose Halo 4, although I am also excited for Borderlands 2, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Resident Evil 6, Dishonored, and Assassin's Creed III.
Of all the thread like this recently yours is my favorite because it lets me see all the upcoming games.
"Dishonored" for me.
Runner-ups would be:
"XCom: Enemy Unknown"
"Hitman: Absolution" (please don't fuck it up IO Interactive...)
It's a close tie between Dishonored and XCOM, but I just slightly prefer the feeling of direct control that DIshonored will offer
- Borderlands 2
- Assassin's Creed III
- Hitman Absolution
- Dishonored
- Jet Set Radio
- X-COM: Enemy Unknown
These are the ones I'm most excited about, but the gap between Borderlands 2 and the rest is pretty huge. I'm curious about how Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Far Cry 3, and Halo 4 turn out. Halo, unlike the others, is a series I've always tried to get into but never can. The others, I seem to like much more easily.
In order: Borderlands 2 -> TTT2 -> Dishonored
Borderlands because I still have the cravings for that first game, Tekken Tag because T6 is a fantastic game and TTT1 is an even more fantastic game (at times) so it might rekindle my love for competitive Tekken, and Dishonored looks really fucking cool.
I would say Borderlands 2 but I plan to get the PC version, so in that case my most anticipated game would probably be Halo 4.
I voted for Halo 4 even though I'm just as excited for Assassin's Creed 3.
I still need to catch up on Borderlands but I'm sure I'll be just as excited for Borderlands 2 as well.
Dishonored for me. It's refreshing to see a new IP getting a release and the gameplay looks interesting enough. Stealth games also aren't released much anymore so I'm eager to see how well this game does.

I find it kinda crazy that not one person voted for Black Ops 2...but I am not totally surprised.
sad part is, it will outsell even the 2nd highest game on that list 2 to 1.
I can't decide between Dishonored and Hitman: Absolution.
they both look like equally great stealth games.
