Which of these video game related claims frustrates you the most when you hear them?

G. Great, your games look better and for some game the controls are more precise but that doesn't mean I'm not going to have less fun with console games.

Just things I hear and read all the time on the internet, and interested to see if anybody else gets frustrated as well.

Where is the ''JRPG's are dieing'' option?

A through C don't piss me off, so they get a pass. iPhone guy's being a dick, but he's not as bad as what's to come. Halo and COD are both idiots, so it's hard to decide on either, and same on the PC/console thing, only not. The PC lover's a dick for being shallow, and while he's the bigger dick (that's not something to be proud of, asshole; you're an asshole-dick), the console guy's also kinda stupid. Sorry, but I gotta go for the Wii, since saying that any major console (I'm aware that it's a true Scotsman, but I don't feel like defending the merits of the 32X) are objectively terrible and have nothing but bad games is a stupid thing to say. Really, really stupid.

I dont think ive actaully heard anyone serious make these claims.
 
I've heard people use strawman arguments about how others use them, but that doesn't exactly give claim validity.
 
PS - Who is saying 'more games need helicopters'...what the hell?

i would say hearing halo is better than call of duty. it gets tiring hearing / reading that all the time. 
 
one thing that i hate hearing the most is people saying that consoles are much better than PC. it just kind of annoys me that people think that. beside the whole graphics and performance, there are things like mods, multiplayer, community, cheats. mods are great which consoles don't have. one favorite mod in oblivion one that has scarlet monastery from wow. i think if they made that for DLC it couldn't come out because of copy right. multiplayer/ community there are still people playing a lot of games from the past. a lot of console games nobody plays. there are still cheats for PC version of games. people can put on no clip and fly around the world.

I love how G is winning and yet it's not a "Claim" its a "Fact" PC games do, in general, have better graphics and controls than console game. And although people who constantly flaunt this fact can be annoying they kind of have a right to because they invested in the extra hardware.

I chose the last one.  the Wii has  a weak library but I can't stand people's hyperbole when it comes to the "console wars."

Console biased community, so the result is clear..

The Wii one definitely. I can kind of concede on graphics at times, but I can shove games down your throat and show you some that can even be considered better than 'hardcore console' games.

I went with "I". D was a close choice, mostly because I've gotten annoyed with a few people on podcasts saying that the iPod Touch will be turning people away from the 3DS.

Games DO need more helicopters in them.  I'm glad Giant Bomb agrees.

Console and PC elitists are by far the most annoying group of individuals in the gaming community.

Also, I should point out that Russians/zombies never do get old as enemies. The day that games no longer use zombies and/or Russians as the bad guys is the day that I stop playing games.  
 
Well, maybe I could live without zombies. But not without Russians, because Nazis have dropped off a lot lately.  
 
Now that I think about it, I kinda wish there was a good WWII shooter coming out. Haven't played one since Call of Duty 2.
