I always get the feeling that Drew would like to decrease his screen and voice time. I believed his consistent bombcasting is a result of too few people. I think he prefers to sit in on Quick Looks that apply to him and bring his racing/flying game a week to UPF.

Honestly, I love the shenanigans going on in the Super Professional Fridays in Chicago. I'd be open to any new personalities! I totally trust Jeff's judgment to get a right fit. It might even be another audio/video person too, and split time with Drew. That would be ok too. either way, im totally ready for some new faces.

As long as the character fits the mould of the GB crew, i'll be delighted.

Shawn Elliot was absolutely hilarious during the cgw/gfw live podcasts. If I would choose any other it would be somebody who has no relation to gaming, like an ex convict or anybody from the street, just to add some spice to the quick looks.

At this point I feel like they may as well just grab a USF or SFSU film student or graduate and get them to run the tricaster and shoot video if what's holding up hires is money or waiting for the right people to be available.

I'm sure there would be a million volunteers and it would give Drew and Vinny a tiny bit of breathing space.

I of course want the best people on the site long-term but some of the limitations the guys are running into in the short-term seem like just basic a.v. stuff.

My vote goes to Garnett Lee. I was a huge fan of weekend confirmed and now Garnett on games podcast.

Would love that Giant Bomb and him get together.

Feel like this might be relevant again (but probably not)....with VinnCo conquering New York. My vote would be John Drake - funny as hell, and already has rapport with the Bombcrew. Danny O'dwyer would also be awesome - mainly cause I love the idea of Giant Bomb poaching hires from Gamespot.

Jeff Green got a gig consulting, as did Adam Sessler I guess. I really don't know if any of the games media folks who went over to development like Sean, Carrie, Rich, etc would come back. Carrie does seem like a good fit though.

I really love Garnett Lee and he certainly has the experience for it, but I'm not sure if he is a good fit at Giant Bomb. I guess I'm having a hard time seeing him on someone else's podcast but his own.

Seems unlikely Jeff Cannata would leave L.A for San Francisco, as he is also an actor. That would be epic though.

As for a lady-type, I like Andrea Rene.

Yeah, he usually doesn't play the latest games, and talking about his quirky games aren't as interesting as seeing him Quick Look them.

Drew's cool, but I expect the 2 new hireees to replace him and Vinny on the Bombcast.

One of the new hires is a video producer--unless he/she grows into an on-camera/on-mic role like Drew did, I don't know if we'll be seeing or hearing a ton of him/her. Also, when someone on Tumblr asked if Rorie would become a Bombcast regular once Vinny left, Jeff said he expected the new editor to fill the open spot--no mention of the new producer.

@docwattson: I always kind of expected that was the case but I never knew for sure. Either way, it definitely seems like they are still friends and cool with each other so I wonder if it's completely out of the question. I mean, she may want to stay on the dev side at this point regardless.

My vote, if we're not bringing any more of the old gang back is Sir Daniel O'Dwyer. Rykert would be cool.

If it is indeed Ryckert, I can say that I will be shocked, dunno whether he will be a positive addition. He is entropy personified and will rub some people the wrong way if he gets to keep the same persona he's been trotting out at Game Informer. Basically, he is an anti-Klepeck, but a unique personality (aside from being wrestling aficionado) and a full-blooded American patriot.

I don't understand why people keep mentioning people who already have a job and a paycheck. Giantbomb is not wallstreet, I doubt anyone will quit their existing job to come join Giantbomb. People asking for Danny O'Dwire is the craziest thing.
