Who would win? The Thing vs. Hulk

If The Thing and The Hulk would face off against one another, which one would win? Each one of them have unparalleled strength and each can take a ton of damage, which one would win?

I personally think Hulk would win because I think he's faster than The Thing and Hulk can also jump incredibly far, so im sure that would come in handy somehow.

Hulk duh, He's big and green.

Hey I haven't read any comics in 12 years, I dont know if alot changed.  They have battled in the past and depending upon which Hulk he fighting(green vs. gray or smart vs. stupid) the THING won once or twice,  but in the reader's poll I predict HULK would win in a landslide every time.  He has a THUNDERCLAP!

Hulk have fought Thing many times.  Hulk win every battle except one which get interrupted when fake Hulk show up (long story), the one time Hulk almost lose was because Hulk was in weakened Gray form and Thing was in enhanced form.  Under normal circumstance Hulk always SMASH Thing. 

Hulk often take on entire Fantastic Four, Avengers, and X-Men teams and SMASH them all.  HULK STRONGEST ONE THERE IS!

Part of me wished this thread was about John Carpenters 'The Thing' instead of the Marvel Character.

John Carpenters 'The Thing' will beat anybody apart from Kurt Russel and Keith David. FACT.

The Thing isn't in the same league as the Hulk. The Thing would survive longer vs Grey Hulk, since that is the weaker version of the Hulk.

There's already several fights between the two, and I believe with the exception of one, The Hulk has won them all.

Hmm well the Hulk gets bigger and stronger as his rage and anger increases meaning his potential strength has no limit. However he is somewhat dumb and has the disadvantage of turning into Bruce Banner at any given moment which would mean the fights over for the Hulk if that happened.

However the Thing has an almost indestructable body of rock and although his strength is limited he has the intelligence to out smart the Hulk. Not to mention he doesn't change and by that i mean his rock skin will never disappear at random.

So sorry to our Hulk user i think the Thing would win....

Hulk intelligence usually irrelevant in majority of Hulk battles.  Why?  Cause Hulk unstoppable force of nature.  Hulk SMASH and SMASH and SMASH and SMASH until whatever Hulk want SMASHED is SMASHED.

As cited earlier, only semi-win Thing ever get was against Hulk with intelligent "Joe Fixit" personality.  This cause Hulk weaker in that form and not have pure strength to SMASH and SMASH and SMASH.

In just pure strength, the Hulk is better than Superman. The Thing is nothing compared to him.

I would say hulk as he can't die....seriously its impossible. But in Ultimate Fantastic 4 when they go to the zombie universe ultimate thing manages to out strength zombie hulk and throw him away. As for the main universe hulk would definatly beat thing. Didn't hulk make thing blow up once by punching him? Or something to that effect.

The Hulk tends to win fights when betty ross is being threatened somehow, and I can't imagine that the Thing would impose any danger to her seeing how she isn't evil. Therefore the Thing would overcome the Hulk because the Hulk wouldn't have the motivation that usually pushes him into victory. I don't really care for the Thing or any members of the fantastic four for that matter, but I am just following the logic. Also, any Marvel Zombie knows that Spider-man is the best.... even when he is dancing down the street with dyed hair.
