Why are there commercials in the videos now?

I'm 13 minutes into the Anthem: First Impressions video and I've seen two unskippable commercials so far. I've been paid up on my premium account for years. Is this a bug or do premium accounts now have to watch ads?

Change your video player from "YouTube" (which has ads) to "GiantBomb Video Player" (which is ad-free for Premium Users).

Glad to help! It's a bummer that GB's default video player is YouTube and not their in-house, but I guess that's the result of some corporate wrangling between YouTube and CBSi at work. :p

I would assume having YouTube be default would reduce the bandwidth costs to CBSi considerably. I'm not sure who host their 'Giant Bomb Video Player' content, but it must cost something eye boggling.
