why is my name red?

names seem to be in different colors, just asking why mine is red.

You chose Nintendo as your faction. Microsoft is green, Sony is blue, PC is white, and neutral is grey. 

It depends on the console you favor over the other or you could choose neutral which is gray.

I had to choose neutral because there is no color designation for being a The 3DO Company fanboy.   Or Atari fanboy...Sega fanboy?

This question seems to come up quite a bit. It's in the FAQ though, so I guess people should just be reading that.
