Why would Telltale make the demo of Puzzle Agent the whole game?

 I mean, don't get me wrong, this is one the best free game I've played, but I want this game to get green lighted and continue it's story! 
 
That's probably not gonna happen i everyone checks out the demo and nobody buys it.

They're probably logging how many people are interested in it and if the number of downloads [paid or free] surpass their expectations, I'm sure they'll continue the story.

As for the demo thing, they are saying in the telltale forums that it might be a error actually, the demo is one of those things that instead of having limited content it haves the whole thing, it only unlocks stuff once you buy, and of course it's all done online, so people think that due to an server error of some sort people with just the demo are getting the full game.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been thinking about trying to get into adventure games, and I got the feeling that Puzzle Agent would be a nice started since it's not as..adventure-y. I'm enjoying it so far, it's a funny game. Ran into a few tough puzzles that stumped me for a bit, but nothing too bad.
