Will I get banned for swearing here?

I got banned for saying "bollocks" on Gamespot years ago and they never let me back >=(

Nope, i doubt it, although I'm sure there will be people dropping the F bomb every five minutes because they think its cool, I can understand it being used in context, but we will get some idiots here testing the waters to see how far they can push it, it'll calm down after a few weeks.

Swearing doesn't offend me personally, but gratuitous use of it for no point other than to try impress people on forums comes across as juvenile and a bit sad really, No stranger swearing myself  I'm sure there will be times when i say "Holy Shit" That game looks awesome, ect.

The approach here seems to be like the GT forums, you can swear, but just not at each other.  It's one thing to say "shit" in a post, it's a whole 'nother thing to say "You're a shithead" in one.  You know what I mean?

They swear on the podcast so I'm sure the standard selection of swear words are allowed in moderation. I'm sure a few words aren't allowed though.

I'm sure it will be alright if you don't totally go overboard with it. Then again, what is overboard?

if this is anythign like the other forums Im on frequently, just avoid it in large quantities, and no f or s word.....unless you dont get caught :P

I knew Gamespot  had strict rules, but permabanning someone for saying bollocks seems extreme.

Seeing how Jeff and Company swear occasionally on their podcasts, videos, etc I can't see us not being able to swear in moderation

From what I've seen, the mods are really forgiving here, I've seen people using insults that should've warrant a ban, but didn't.
