I'm hankering for some new Giant Bomb Academy, the last episode with Zandra Vandra was enjoyable.
So a new episode with (perhaps) the following would be fun:
* Something else than a side scroller. Perhaps iso-metric/top down Zelda style? Just to mix it up. 3D 3rd or 1st person is too complicated for a show like this. I mean, everything takes longer in 3D. Rouge-like? At least you don't need saving mechanics.
* A tool more sophisticated than Construct. I mean it works, but it's not really inspiring to be limited to html5 games. Maybe even Dreams could work? But, that's limited in other ways. But it's fast to get going.
* I'm fine with a base for the game being pre-made. And focusing on the gameplay and design. Like having a moving character already.
* Recording own sound effects. I mean, it doesn't take long to record short sounds. At least one jump sound or what ever.
* Maybe let someone in the crew paint at least one sprite. It doesn't matter if it's ugly or not. And can be done in 10 minutes while the other records some sounds.
Actually, anything related to game dev would work.
