I guess rent Halo 3, mainly because ODST is not even out yet.

halo 3, halo ODST isn't even out yet. i don't think it will be out for a while now. u should play 3 first to see if u like halo 3 as it might not be for everyone. i like halo 2 more then 3.

Is it really a big deal? I mean who cares about the rating. Just get a game you want to play.

Halo is on the more non-violent spectrum of M rated games, not much blood, now gears of war would be a leap in the right direction

I hate to impose this question, but how old are you where your mother wouldn't let you rent an Mature Rated game? Just curious. If you have to pick one of the two, the only answer is Halo 3, because simply, H3: ODST isn't out until September.
