Yet another website that finally "gets it."
You can explain all the flaws of "out of ten" ratings, but some gamers still will still argue why they think it's a good system.
Gamesradar isn't too bad, they have good articles, I just find the layout of their articles to be too narrow and ads take up far too much space in their pages. Occasionally they have some bad articles too, but every journalist site has those once and a while.
"ZombieHunter said:Ahhh i see well ive been going to GR for a while long before jeff was even fired from gamespot :P"thats is a very old article :P "i know, but listening to the first community podcast reminded me of the article."
I like the 5 star system, I just feel you get more info form the 1-10 rating. But if you read the review it doesn't matter at all. But a lot of people don't read reviews.
My point is a game with 3 stars could turn sombody away. But that game with 3 stars might get a 8.5. Which sounds more appealing to you. Jeff really liked soul caliber 4, but the small things kept it from 4 stars. The dude at gs liked it too, and gave it a 8.5.
"There was a big scary spider in that article. I officially hate that site"Don't worry, it hates you too.
I'm not joking.
