Basically what is the your greatest/most memorable gaming moment you've ever had?

Mine was when you first came out into Hyrule Field in Ocarina of Time, I had never seen anything so vast and amazing in a game before at the time.

2 that come to mind are shadow of the colossus when you have your first boss fight with a colossus.

and at the end of mass effect 2 when you are flying out of the collectors base with everybody intact. and telling the illusive man to piss off.

Lol yeah those are really great, especially the ending to Mass Effect 2. It was really epic.

I also got an epic feeling at the end of Uncharted 2, you just got done with such an amazing journey it felt great after you beat it. Oh and of course you can't forget about Metal Gear Solid, so many epic moments in those games.

MGS4 is great, the fight with liquid was amazing. But IMO nothing beats the epic moments in Snake Eater, that's my favorite Metal Gear game.

I'm not sure. The first time I beat Ornstein and Smough in Dark Souls was pretty good. I struggled so much with the fight and after hours of trying it was really satisfying to do.

@ShadowMoses900: im with you on that, i loved mgs4 to all hell, but MGS3, was probably really imo one of the most fucked up stories ever. it was a defining game for me

ive never felt as sorry for a character as Big Boss.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Microwave room.

Broke my heart watching snake drag himself through that room.

Whats more: A bunch of my buddies were watching me play through the entire game (Mini personal endurance run?) and screaming at the me to hurry up and screaming at snake to get up.

It was fantastic. Nothing has ever come that close since.

For me it would probably be the first colossus you see in shadow of the colossus and the train sequence in uncharted 2. Those to stick out in my mind.

Beating Red Dead Redemption. That title screen is great. Second favorite credits song, only beaten by Bastion.
Beating Demons Souls for the first time.
Every moment in Portal 2
