Super Smash Brothers 4 Part 42: Chrono Trigger
Edited By AgentJ
I iz a newspaper editor now!
The Video Game culture has quite a number of icons, and while Nintendo has created quite a number of them, they certainly dont have a monopoly on awesome characters. as such, it is my distinct pleasure to create a list of third party presence in Super Smash Brothers unlike anything we have seen in the series prior. Every weekday I'll bring you a blog on the third party characters that deserve a place in Nintendos next Civil War. I am completely open to suggestions, and if you feel a deserving character has been left out, tell me why they should make it and I'll potentially make some changes.
Rules:
Synopsis: What started out as a young boy waking up late for a town festival results in a red-haired warrior saving both the world and history from the omnipresent threat of Lavos. Using his flying time machine Epoch and using the help of his many friends from across the timeline, Chrono Trigger searches for a way to repair the fabric of time.
Notable Appearances: Chrono Trigger
SSB4 Likelyhood: 3/10
Alternate Costumes:

I've never played Chrono Trigger. I'm planning on buying it once I get a DS, though. Anyway, you have Frog and Magus listed as alternate costumes. Do they fight similarly enough to Chrono that it could actually work?
Yes : ) Put in more swordmen. I loveed to play as the swordmen in SSBB(Link, Toon Link, Marth, Ike, and Metaknight(He uses a sword which sort of makes him a swordsman)). Randomness of character that have been in video games, but aren't quite video game related. Marvel and DC superheroes and Disney Charaters(I am a fan of both to be honest as well as Nintendo games. I don't expect the Disney characters to show up, but there's hope fpr the superheroes. Isn't there?)

Frog did, but in retrospect, Magus might not fit. I'll have to sleep on it. They all use a lot of magic, and both frog and Chrono use swords, but Magus uses a scythe (he is the bad guy of course)I've never played Chrono Trigger.
