Blizzard is selling a new hero skin for the environment. It's not a beast related skin for some reason

Blizzard is selling a new mage skin for the World Wide Fund for Nature. Heathstone users recently found that the next hero to be adapted into the a skin will Khadgar, Medviah's apprentice. The source is was found on the Apple store and indicates that you will only be allowed to purchase the new hero skin through ios devices. According to the page, the skin will also be only be sold for a limited time. The source says that it will stop selling the skin on April 24th PDT. That's a really short amount of time considering that today is April 14th.

No word yet has been about the price. But a screenshot from the Singapore store suggests that it could around $5-$7 if you convert Singapore dollars to American dollars

Seems silly to have two alternate heroes for mage while most classes have none.

Isn't there already a second skin for Mages? Or am I crazy?

Just a warning, some users on the HS Reddit are reporting that after purchasing the skin, they were unable to log into the PC version of the game since the patch hasn't been pushed out there yet.

@jarenface: Seems like Blizzard has not updated the PC version to work with this skin. I've added a warning to the OP so others would know beforehand.

@acura_max: I might be wrong on this but I've seen reports of Blizzard being under DDOS attack so things might be busted across the board for them.

Its kinda shitty that you have to have iOS to get it, also another mage skin.

Or a Pandaren hero to match the WWF logo. Double fail!

I don't understand duplicate skins for heroes while some heroes have no skins at all yet. It's not like Mage is being played most either, or something.

Im slightly annoyed that it's another mage skin while druid, cleric, Rogue, and Warlock don't have another skin yet. Not to mention it's not all that great looking either. Oh well.

I'd imagine people would be pretty annoyed if a temporarily-available (and not particularly good!) skin was the only option for Druid, Priest, Rogue, or whoever else!
