Anyone voting for The Illusive Man could not be more wrong. He's a fine character conceptually, but narratively he's the point the series started to go horribly wrong.

There was a vulnerability, a humanity to him which most of the other characters lacked.

In a way Thane represents the totality of the Mass Effect struggle. That you will die, no matter what, but you must perservere.

Duders, it's Thane all day every day. "That Assassin should be embarrassed, a terminally ill Drell managed to stop him from reaching his target." He uses his last breath to say a prayer asking for salvation, and after he dies, it's revealed he said the prayer for shepard's soul, not his own. That shit is so fucking awesome.

You make a compelling case. Thane was an awesome character. His death scene was one of the best moments of that series. At the end of the day though I gotta go with Garrus. All dem calibrations.

This almost makes me want to vote for Thane. That guy is just too awesome.

Thane was such a good character, too bad he had space cancer...

Garrus was my go to guy in all 3, plus haning out with on the Citadel in ME3 was one of the best parts in the game.

Mordin Solus..he was awesome, well written and surprisingly conflicted which made him more interesting. Plus, the singing.

@soapy86: I would play a Mass Effect themed skateboarding game. The Reapers would be "the Man" tryin' to ruin Shep and crew's fun. The ending would be controversial and come down to three color-coded choices.

Really enjoyed many, but Mordin was my vote; so well done imo. Really hit me in the tower in 3 with him. Loved Jack's whole angst thing too. Liara's right up there and obviously an oversight itp, lol.

Liara was probably my favourite, why the hell is she not on the list? Wrex, Tali, Mordin, Grunt and Aria are my other favourites.
