Sons of Drewberty Tshirt Design

I have enjoyed Metal Gear Scanlon and I'm excited about MGS2 happening so I made this design... it uses art of Dan I did for a KFC logo recently, but reworked it all to make this. I did it large enough to print it on a shirt in case I want to for PAX...

I feel like it's been awhile since new art has been added to the set. I'd love to see prints of this and those Yoji Shinkawa-lookin portraits of dan and drew

It really bugs me somehow that Dan and Drew's faces aren't level, makes the entire image seem offset / imbalanced. Otherwise, great work!

The not-leveled faces are driving me insane, but regardless, this is amazing.

Something about it off-level feels more MGS-y to me but what do i know. Either one is fine by me!

These people are crazy. Making them level makes it look like two sides of one person, like @mlarrabee said. The uneven faces are what make it!

I think you should get rid of that little spec on the corner of Dan's moustache. Looks like an artifact rather than intentional. Looks amazing of course, besides that one little thing.

That looks incredible, but man, I HATE those snakes flying out. I'd like to see the snakes either taken out or remove one and replace it the snakes tail or something.

Fantastic work man. Only thing I'd suggest is trying to bring Drew's face to the right a bit. It looks like their eyes are too far apart... that might be a necessary evil because of that logo you have running down the middle though.

It really like the off-balance of the two. Drew is the star. Dan is Otacon.

Symmetry is aesthetically more pleasing: the bandanna on the left balances out the GB logo on the left. Both sides now mirror the other, especially when you consider the two snakes and the way the text is arranged! IT'S SCIENCE!

But the bandana and the logo aren't symmetrical. Fuck science. If it's telling me I'm wrong, fuck science! I love the asymmetry!

@gaff: its a close call, which is why people disagree I guess, the bandana and the logo do balance each other, my concern was the logo "weighed more" visually which is why I did the face uneven... but either way I'm just glad people like the design, which ever way they fall...

the original design had Dan in all blues and Drew in all reds and the backgrounds opposite... maybe I'll post that one if I get time to colorize it more tomorrow.

These are both rad but the level one is radder to me. I'd definitely buy this on a Teespring type of thing. Hey @fobwashed was it a ton of work to do yours? (Love my gamebomb.ru shirt by the way!)

@graboids: I think that if the portraits were in a three quarter view it could make for a nice Mount Rushmore-like composition especially considering what happens in MGS4 but with full face as it is now, symmetry might be a better option.

@aquacadet: I'm actually the other way... I usually love symmetry too... Something might be wrong with me.

Either way, shit that's grouse. Love the design.
