HELP my MGS-5 controls have flipped out on me!

I hope I'veposted this in the right place... let me know if I need to re-post someplace else.

WTH?? I was just playing mission 31 in MGS-5, and my controls just flipped. Now, both the directional pad AND the left stick control the "equip" functions. The direction pad controls movement AND equip at the same time, while the left stick no longer controls movement, but only the equip function.

I have no way to move, please help me!

What system are you playing on? What controller are you using?

Must be some Kojima shenanigans.
