$1000 App accidentally brought by kid

I'm shocked by this on two fronts, 
1) There exists an iphone app that costs $999, and its to take the bar course of all things. Thats..just funny. 
2) Apple allowed his mother a refund. I thought they would need that app to get ANYTHING out of Apple. 
 
on a side note, that Iphone 4 looks gorgeous. 

Where did he bring it? Okay I'm an ass....
 
Well someone should have watched him better.

People buy that app? I'm really starting to believe they should introduce a maximum wage...

That is totally insane, how can someone justify spending that much on an app?

Maybe I should make an app so a kid can accidentally download it and I get $1000.    :P

They got a refund, this story means nothing to me.

The mom really shouldn't have told him the password to the iTunes account. The fact that it didn't prompt him for a password is bullshit. I get prompted every time I buy or update any app.

Apps get priced this way to trick people who don't notice it's $999 instead of $9.99. It's happened before.

Well, it was going to happen sooner or later, I'm a little surprised they got a refund on this but maybe Apple saw the possibility for this hurting public relations.

999x more interesting. Anyway I find it incredible that an app that cost $999 even exists it's insane.

Yes it does. I haven't upgraded my iPhone since I first got one but I think they may have just changed. "
