8-4 Play Speak Japanese

He guys. So I love the bombcast. I also like 8-4 Play, and I think it would be fun to hear a quick display of their Japanese skills. Especially with the new girl Sarah. Hit them up on twitter. The Podcast is good, but they have never once showed off their skills. I think as fans we'd like to hear it.Just for a bit.

I probably wouldn't listen to a podcast in a language I don't speak.

No I mean just have them do it for show or for a tin bit.

Now that I'm playing Puyo Puyo Tetris and listening to Babymetal a lot. I think listening to a podcast in japanese would be the logical next step...

@rejizzle: You should try a language learning podcast sometime. There is a whole section of them on iTunes.

Yeah, that would be neat. The language is so different from English it would be cool to hear them "show off".

Are you a regular listener? They always say a word or phrase in Japanese when talking about various things. Or are you one of those people that says "Wow, you speak [x language]? Say something!"?

Sure why not, if only to embarrass them (I kid).

But they clearly do their best work in English. NANOMACHINES, SON!

I don't think this would be as exciting as you seem to think it would be.

I'd want an episode where everyone speaks in English except for Hiroko, who only speaks in Japanese the whole way through.

Maybe they could do a 'Let's learn a random Japanese phrase!' segment during it. Learning Japanese and hearing about the game industry in Japan. Priceless!

Look I've followed these guys since EGM days. They translate for a living. They all speak a whole other language. I just think it would be awesome if they just jokingly did a skit or said a few things to eachother in Japanese so we could hear them. We all listen to the podcast because we have sensibilities towards Japanese games. So hearing these guys speak it fluently for a tiny amount of time would be a lot of fun like just the intro or something.
