i just downloaded the new last fm feature on Xbox live, and i am finding that the choices of songs and artists are perfect. Many artists that i knew of and many knew as well.
Your opinions on the feature
am i the only one who loves the new Last fm feature on xbox
I'm enjoying it so far. To be honest, I had not heard of Last.fm before the MS announcement, but I am really enjoying the site on the PC as well.
The only real improvement on the 360 I could see would be if it were possible to run it in the background. I can see disabling it during online games to prevent lag, but I'd love to be able to run it behind some single player games. (I know that I personally ran my own music streamed behind puzzle quest, and would enjoy doing somthing similar with other games that have weak soundtracks. )
I love Last.fm, I've been using the website for a few years now, it is really great for finding music that fits your tastes.
I've been part of the preview programme though, and haven't really been using it on the 360. The ability to have it run in the background would definitely change that though.
I had the update for a while because of the preview program and out of the update I used last.fm the most. It's great to use because it scrobbles all the songs in my itunes library so I can listen to them all on my xbox but if I could choose I would take pandora over last.fm any day.
i would love it but apparently i don't get it cause i live in CANADA. Please someone tell me why this is. Is it cause the music is licensed differently over here or what cause i wanted to listen to black sabbath while playing pc games but now Microsoft has fuck me over thanks a lot.
It's alright, although not really any different from using it on PC, what would have been really cool is if you could've used it in the media thing to listen to last.fm while playing games (i'm gonna fell very stupid if you can actually do that)
you do have a point but i wanted to use my 360. o well. So also why don't we have netflix over here.
