Any sigs on these forums?

Just noticed, nobody has any signatures. Will this feature be added, or is this a permenant thing? I want my Rich Gallup gif all over the GB forums!

I really hope not. It just adds useless content to the length of posts and slows down loading times.

I hope to The Jesus that sigs aren't added. I don't need to see the same huge obnoxious animated gif or Sephiroth at the end of every post someone makes.

I would like to have sigs, but I can live without it. Besides, Giantbomb is already slow. I think it's because everyone's rushing to get here or my internet connection is slowing down, but it's already slow

I miss my O-Zone sig... oh well, there's always GS for that.

Seeing as the site has just started, sigs can easily be too disruptive without proper established sig control. The last thing you'll want to hear as feedback is that sigs are too large or too small.

I personally like sigs as long as they are non-abusive but that comes with regulating the servers.

I think with time they will be on here. I would also like to see Polls, Exculsive threads and other functions that some forums have.

idk, i'm hoping there is. it gives each user a unique distinction from other users.

I'm actually hoping they don't, it just makes the whole page longer to scroll down and they get repititive

I dunno, I kinda like seeing signatures because I like to see everyone's different images, plus it makes it easier to identifiy certain users at a glance.

Sigs are a must have.  Its the easiest way to remember and recognise users and I like to see them plain and simple.  If you don't want sigs stick to Gamefaqs

Signatures would overcrowd a layout like this really quickly.

Avatars in my opinion are the easiest way to identify a user - so you should be able to express an identity in one.

Your mini bio is there if you need to flaunt anything additional (system specs etc.), and your gallery is there for any images you want to show off - the beauty of these is that they're optional - someone who doesn't care to see a fancy image you made or a three foot signature on how great your PC is, doesn't have to visit your pages.

Signatures are a good way to recognize posters. I hope they get added.

Let me lay it on you. Sigs are fucking horrible. Nobody wants to see your flashing anime banner and lyrics quotes, nobody reads that shit.

I don't really like them, its easier to load and less clustered without them.

I guess I got to get a new sig for when the upate.

Sigs would be OK as long as they don't turn into Scorehero types of sigs.
