Anyone else not excited at all for the new Star Wars movie?

I just saw a trailer for "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", and I must say that (I think) it looks pretty terrible. The art style and animation are fantastic, but I just think it will be too childish for me to really enjoy. From the trailer I saw, the voice acting seems like something close to Resident Evil's on the cheesy-ness scale, and I just have a feeling that the dialogue will be bland overall. It was hard enough to sit through Phantom Menace with all of those "this is made specifically for young childrens' entertainment and is insulting my intelligence" scenes, and I think this movie will be full of more of those.

Thoughts? Am I crazy to be hating on this movie?

It's not a Star Wars movie. There haven't been any Star Wars movies since the '80s.

I'm sorta indifferent.  I want to see it, but I'm not really eagerly anticipating it like I did for The Dark Knight.

My issue with it isn't the child attraction that it will be, or the visual style and animation because i really like that but rather its set in the Clone Wars revolving around Anakin Skywalker AGAIN!....

Seriously we had the Attack of the Clones movie, then there was some short cartoon series and now we get another movie based on the cartoon? Couldn't they have pushed the boat out and perhaps done a film, even an animated one, about the KOTOR universe?

Star Wars has lost all its appeal to me really, they just keep going over the same stuff thats already been covered again and again.

I'm not really into Star Wars, I enjoyed every movie; even Episode 1, 2 and 3. I watch them for the sci-fi fantasy and just beyond belief plotline of midiclorians, anakin, sons and daughters of fantastical queens and fallen knights, it was really fun to watch, anything similar I'll love!

It will probably be bad. The new trilogy was generally awful, and I expect this one to follow suit if it's written by George Lucas. Despite some popularity, EP 3 was actually pretty rubbish. Yeah, the effects are always good but the dialogue is just excruciating.

I enjoyed the Clone Wars animated series that was on cartoon network, but those worked in their shorter format.  10-15 minutes each episode I think.  Also that art style is more fit for 2D.

So yeah, that trailer gives me zero interest in seeing that movie.

There is no way i will be seeing that movie.

Any Star Wars film with the word "Clone" in will be be a disaster; Example: Episode II

i not sure people know that this is just two episodes of the new tv series put together into a movie. theres going to be an animated stylized tv show that starts with this movie, and in 2009 there's goign to be a realistic CGI tv show.

I'm not like "Oh my god I must see this!" but I am interested to see how a Star Wars movie not directed by George Lucas could turn out. Empire and Return anyone?

The movie looks really stupid, I'm not even going to bother renting it. The animation just doesn't work for me.

Star Wars feels like a joke, nowadays. I'm sure George Lucas is really comfortable on his bed of money...

This movie seems really commercial. Unfortunately, it seems people are trying to cash in on the Star Wars franchise. Let the milking begin.
