Anyone find it annoying when dudes sign the bottom of their posts

I really do dislike it when someone takes the time to sign their posts, your name is at the top of the screen, it seems redundant, are you special in some way? Does it elevate you above the rest? Are you aware that you look like a dork when you do it?
