Hey, just curious if anyone on here lives in my state.  I reside in Boise, ID.  Lemme know or let this topic get buried under the mountain of others.

@Briguile: That'd be pretty easy... not many places are colder than Moscow.  Maybe Burley.  Just head south until you see the sun, my friend.

@jorbear:
I was born in Salt Lake and lived in Sandy until I was 6.  Moved up here after that (just packed up the big wheel and headed north) and been here ever since.

AH Ha ha!   Ha... Ha ha.  Ha.  Woo.

Yeah, never heard THAT one before... where does the internet come up with those?  Seriously, I don't think I've ever even SEEN a potato farm in my 18 years living here, unless I drove past one and didn't notice.  Those of you who can read my previous posts and do math can now figure out my age!  Wheee.....

@Sir_Ragnarok: I have a couple of friends going there right now.  Fine school, I gather, but all they really talk about is the damn football team.  Apparently, we are in a division where all the teams but us suck because we seem to keep trouncing everyone by massive amounts.  It's like watching the kid with the magnifying glass vs. ants.  And not even fire ants, harmless ants.  In an ant farm.

@Mordukai: Thank you.  Please refer to my previous post where I laughed unconvincingly.

@Mordukai: I understand, sorry if I came off as rude.  It's just that potatoes are the one fact everyone associates with this state, so it gets kind of old after a while.

I associate silver (not potatoes) with Idaho, ever since my sixth grade field trip to the silver mine in Wallace. I've lived in Spokane and Missoula so the only part of Idaho I usually see is the panhandle as I go back and forth. Ok now i realize I don't associate Idaho with silver, I associate it with the Wallace gas station. I need to take different routes, God.

Moscow is very rural. It was surprising my brother found Chrono Cross new in the mall like area there.

I went to Boise this fall.  You have a really nice mall.  The waterpark place rocked too.

I wonder if there's anyone else from Wyoming like me.

@cooljammer00:  Really?  Must have just been a recent post...

@Marz: It's one of the 50 states in the Union.  It is also a lame joke that translates to the phrase, "I am a prostitute."

@None_Braver: Yeah, haven't been to the mall in a while.  Got asked to leave for doing card tricks once, they thought I was gambling.  Just a little card magic and the security guards freaked out, I unno...  And I'm not sure, you should make a post asking, but your odds are even worse than mine.  I think Wyoming is still the state with the lowest population.

I lived in Boise for thirteen years, before moving to Seattle the summer before last. It's a nice little place, and Boise is surprisingly metropolitan. Go about 30 miles outside of it in any direction, though...
Well, anyway, it was a nice, quiet place to grow up. Just not the place for a city boy like me.

VGH is a really nice store. I'm hoping I can buy my old Gameboy back from them when I visit again. Sold it to them nearly 10 years ago, but great things do happen.

I was born in Moscow, ID, spent some time in Twin Falls before moving to Indiana. It's incredibly obnoxious when everyone thinks you're a potato farmer or some dumb shit like that. I just started telling people I'm from Seattle instead.

@Jimbo: Yes.  Now they'll think he's a grunge rock loving coffee enthusiast.  Everywhere has it's stereotype, I suppose.  When I tell people I lived near Salt Lake as a kid, they immediately ask if my family's Mormon.
