Hey Duders! So in the past I have posted various videos here of my interviews with Austin Walker and Patrick Klepek from my Let's Play channel "MakoTitan". I always see the great artwork and remixes from you guys, NOT TO MENTION xpantherx's Best of Giantbomb series that actually started out as a YouTube thing! I wanted to see what you guys work on, because as a content creator, I really really know the struggles that you go through to stand out. It's so difficult, and even a little recognition for what you do is motivation to keep going. I'll leave a link to mine here as well. Feel free to take a look. I can't wait to see your work Duders!
Anyone here have a YouTube channel they would like to share? I love seeing the communities work!
Hey man, I'm fairly new to the GB community. Love this damn site. If you're interested in live music from the Northern Plains you could check out my youtube channel. I used to live in Fargo ND and tried to give exposure to as many local musicians as I could. I'm now living in Tampa and looking to start over with musicians from Florida. https://www.youtube.com/user/gronvold202
@barroomhero: Absolutely! Can't wait to check out your work! Message me anytime dude.
I make a variety of videos - messed around with recording myself once and got hooked on it. ;) I'm trying to mix my stuff up more but it's a variety of let's play stuff, quick looks, features, lists, guides. Also trying to do some live stuff as I really like chatting to people about the game whilst playing it - just did a Contradiction playthrough, actually.
Anyway, you should be able to find me over at youtube.com/KenY2KenTV if you're so inclined.
Here's mine: https://www.youtube.com/user/joaomarquesvideos
There's still some old videos I did during college while I was studying Design & Multimedia, but now I upload "making of" material of some of the work I do professionally. I'm a Graphic Artist/Designer working mostly for the music industry.
My channel of sorts. Thinking about doing more with it. Maybe some lets plays or critical er... whatever.
Sure I'll plug my channel! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLg9BPD-M0tKxEuzjRFVogDyeSoqDJAe3J
That's a playlist of all my giant bomb videos, I have plenty of other videos on the channel aswell, but may not really be relevant to you duders unless anyone of you play Project reality. Haven't done a video in a while now though.
Uh sure! I do some animated sketch stuff, though it's been slow going lately. Have some things in the pipeline, at least.

I will have to check out some other stuff in this thread!.
here's one where we kind of talk about video games.
Yep, Street Fighter Replays are the main thing on the docket atm, but I'm also one of the best Helldivers (probably the best) and Dead Star players and a top 10 MKX Kitana player
I'm on NG+17 in Bloodborne and am making some amount of progress in that regard in Dark Souls 3.
I believe I was reclining so that tends to make my voice less audible, not like that for every stream I vocalize, will be streaming Bloodborne with the Boom Hammer momentarily if you have any interest.
The more fun thing to talk about at least for me is demographics, I've had a channel for about a year and four months at this point, I have 1.6 million views which is more than enough to pay for every game that I buy, over the past 28 days my audience consists of the following: 38% US, 9.4% Japan, 5.9% Brasil, 4.3% UK, 3.5% France, 3.5% Canada, 2.9% Taiwan, 2.4% Hong Kong, 2.3% South Korea, and 2.3% Mexico. In that same time period 95.4% of my viewers were Male and 4.6% Female, in the past the channel has been at points 89% Male and 11% Female, which is very abnormal for a YT Gaming channel, this mystery is solved by figuring out that this video (and others like it) has a 35-45% Female Audience, which is utterly fascinating to me on any number of levels; I may eventually write an academic paper about it for funsies.
Lifetime the channel's views consist of: 41% US, 5.5% Japan, 5.3% United Kingdom, 4.6% Canada, 4.1% Brasil, 2.8% Germany, 2.5% France, 2.0% Australia, 2.0% Russia, and 1.7% Mexico. I have not one but two Helldivers videos that have generated more revenue than the cost of buying the game by themselves (these being nothing but direct uploads at the time, I eventually started editing stuff, so basically 15 minutes plus I pressed the share button and boom here's 20 bucks), and two Rocket League (music) videos that have done about the same, I have another channel I started 3 months ago as an experiment (with content similar to the linked video in the previous paragraph) and it has 100k views, 19% of them from Japan, 16% from the US, 13% South Korea, 9.5% Brasil, 4.6% Taiwan, 3.7% Mexico, 2.7% Indonesia, 2.3% Thailand, 1.9% Vietnam, 1.7% Malaysia, 1.5% Hong Kong, and 1.5% Russia, 95.2% Male, 4.8% Female.
Monetization did not work on my channel for new videos from like September to January, but was magically resolved when I told a YT rep that I wanted to stream daily but would just do it on twitch if it wasn't fixed; all other attempts to resolve the situation including contacting developers and asking if I had permission to monetize did nothing.
I make stuff for the youtubes: http://www.youtube.com/hamsteralliance Music, Lets Plays, Giant Bomb related videos, artsy things, etc.
I only really post my live stream videos on Youtube. Which I mainly do to ramp up to events like Extra Life or the Community Endurance Run. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8lG-4ePuwl3WHRSgVTe5hw/featured I've meant to do videos more often but it is much easier to motivate me when the GB community decides to do something together.
Sure! I manage my own channel as well as my podcast's.
I mainly just post my live streams (which are basically let's plays) but try to do different things every now and again. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcXwDvC3eEmXTvrJuL3NkTQ
@johnymyko: Good stuff. You're super talented!
@jaypb08: Nice. Your reviews are super well put together.
I've been making gaming stuff but I'm going to branch out to movies in my next video. I've recently revamped my channel and given myself a regular schedule to improve my stuff. I could use any constructive criticism you fellow duders can give me.
@barroomhero: Thanks!
I started a channel years ago just for shits and giggles (mainly as an excuse to improve my lackluster editing skills). My favorite videos that I put together were ones that highlighted/expanded upon something funny in a random Giant Bomb Quick Look. Case in point...
Anyway, I haven't uploaded anything in about a year. But I've slowly been putting bits and pieces from the Us vs. Them: Rocket League together into something that might actually turn out well.
I don't have a Youtube channel, but I've been a little obsessed with a one called Mr. Nightmare over the last few weeks. It's full of allegedly true personal horror stories presented in a campfire story esque way. The narrator for each video does a pretty good job too. It's not all ghosts either, which is why I think it's kept my attention. Most of the stuff is just fucked up stories about fucked up people.
Another good one is Smooth Mcgroove. He does accapella music usually based on video game stuff. My favorite is his rendition of Wily's castle. And I know this post is for self promotion, but I thought I'd suggest them anyway.
Edit: Also, check out Every Frame a painting. It's a channel that breaks down film techniques, and it's super interesting to learn about if you're into that stuff. Here's the video that introduced me to the channel.
I have been doing stuff on YouTube for a couple of years now, including my own version of "Ranking of Fighters" and I am trying to make it into the industry as a journalist or at least a personality in the industry. So any love/feedback/subscriptions would be fully appreciated. I post a lot of my Twitch archives and "Let's Plays" on there. Below is the first episode of me ranking fighting games.

I vlog about comic books ( my other main passion besides gaming) so the channel is 90% focused on that subject but I recently started to post the occasional silly gaming clip via PS4 share.
Hey all, I'm very fresh to the giantbomb community and love it so far. I've been doing let's plays for the last couple of months. The videos are mostly sped-up, which I usually refer to as speedplays or fastplays and are fun to watch I guess.
Soon, I will start doing commentaries with the gameplays as I've been getting requests from some of my subs to do so. I will also do some random videos besides the gaming stuff.
If someone wants to partner up and do something together or just help each other out, then shout me an email so we can work it out.

I stopped maintaining it a while ago but I used to do a show about old Japanese videogames called VideoBento.
Myself and another GB user (@bargearse) have a YouTube channel tied to a weekly podcast we also record. The YouTube channel - Should I Play This Game? - is a little barren, but there's some content up there, and at some stage we're going to try and get some more stuff done once everything has quietened down a little. @phampire and @mwjeffcott also used to be a part of our shenanigans, but time and adulting got in the way unfortunately.
If people are keen for the podcast, check iTunes for Should I Play This Game.
Not much of a channel, but a fiddled around with let's plays a while ago. The quality isn't great, especially the Heavy Rain one, but hey, I learned some stuff about editing and recording. I've got a couple more videos sitting on my hard drive. Maybe I'll upload them during the break.
