I guess no one bothered to read my post...I'll reiterate:  April Fools Day has almost nothing to do with this one insignificant version of this old virus.  If you aren't updating Windows, chances are you already have Conficker and many other malwares anyway.  It's good to call attention to the fact that there is bad stuff on the net, but don't be so naive to think that there is only one piece of malware out there and that you're only vulnerable on one day of the year.

That's why I love Mac. And I only use my Windows computer for Steam and iTunes, so...not many problems there. This will suck if it is a horrible bug that ruins MANY people's computers, so, i will be extra careful when needed.

As long as you're not an idiot, clicking every link you see without thinking, then you should be fine.

.This thing looks real enough.  Trying to fix my PC atm.  The damn task bar and start menu disappeared out of the blue a few days ago.
