Are there many Apple users here?

I use my MacBook Pro as my primary computer, so yes, I am definitely a Apple user. Also, I listen to music from mainly my iPod (with 256 kb/s hooked up to good speakers mind you) and organize photos in iPhoto. But I do play video games on the PC...whenever that happens.

only computer i have is my macbook pro...need nothing else computer wise.

 I use a MacBook Pro or my Mac Mini. Never had a mac (or used one) before 2007 and I'm very happy I decided to make the switch from a PC.  
 
I currently use Leopard and really don't see the need to upgrade to Snow Leopard. Although on the Apple site, they are only charging users $30 to upgrade to Snow Leopard so if I become convinced to get it I won't be spending too much money on it.

I'm a new Mac user.  GB staff was right - that iPod is Apple's gateway drug!

  I have used the mac a lot but I find xp to be a whole lot more better.

My Mum bought me this MacBook.  OSX Leopard.
 
I detest it. I would trade it for a real laptop in a nanosecond. Thank God for Boot Camp and Windows XP. Macs are useless and to imagine some people actually choose to them is repulsive.

I do not use a mac instead of a PC. The only apple products I use is the iphone and itunes. I'm thinking of getting windows 7 soon...

I have a Macbook Pro but I purchased it a couple of years ago. I'm heading off to college next year so I don't know if I'll replace it.

Mac's aren't for gaming. That's why there aren't many people around here with Macs.
However, I do own an Apple product myself.

You certainly aren't the only one. I use OSX for music (Mastering, Mixing, ect), but I also boot Vista, Ubuntu and BackTrack. I mainly use Vista for the sake of familiarity and simplicity.

I've always been a Windows user myself and every friend I've had has always used Windows as well, save for 1 guy I know who more recently switched over to a Mac.

I don't like OS X because of the UI, tbh. I just find Windows an easier operating system to use and customize, especially with the release of Windows 7 and its improvements in search indexing and toolbars and the likes. Also, you would have to install Windows or dual boot in OS X and Windows to be able to game, and I just game too much to be able to switch operating systems like that. Same reason why I've never tried out Ubuntu.

*raising hand* Mac user here, and have been for a long time. I can't believe there was ever a day that I whinged about having to make the jump from 9 to X.
