If your opinion is "meh", then you're obviously not looking forward to it... "

A meh option would be honest, so as ppl. would be able to say NO, but actually YES I probably will be getting it though I won't say or even feel as such. That is, instead of the NO like I think I may be seeing here.I find the MW hate all too easy, yet it will probably take a big dissapointment experience to really drop sales. It will happen, like one poster said, what about MW15. I simply have the opinion it has a bit more legs though ppl. do percieve an end. After all how much longer can they go on, and yet, what really can change about it.

Yes, I am. I liked MW2, disliked Black Ops, and have the feeling I'll probably like MW3 as well. I'm not excited about the multiplayer aspect, never am. It's all about the single player experience, which MW2's exciting moments didn't lack.

After the superb Black Ops -- with its balanced multiplayer, CoD Points system, and fantastic Wager Matches -- I'm very excited for Treyarch's next Call of Duty. I'm not particuarly excited about MW3, but I will certainly be getting it. Who would have thought Treyarch would make Infinity Ward near-redundant? I certainly didn't, but it happened with Black Ops. I'm also interested in seeing what Respawn Entertainment are cooking.

This. Or the fact that all my friends buy it and then I have no choice if I wanna play with my friends online.

If it's Infinity Ward and it's got Price, and has all the fucking wowo-mojo that Black Ops couldn't whip up in a thousard years then sure.  But that's not an avid looking to the windows while the dripping butter from my crumpets hisses in the fire-grate kind of looking forward.  It's the Thank God kind of looking forward knowing that maybe, just maybe things will be as beautiful as they were back then and snowmobiles and Navy Seals will join hands mid-air in times of need.

I'm more interested in whether or not they will be sticking with the same old CoD 4 formula or finally going in a different route.

I'll buy it. Sure, it's more of the same, but I go a good 8 months in between Call of Duties, and by the time the next one rolls around, I'm down for another round. I spend more per year on fuckin' peanut butter cups, it's not like it's a big deal.

The single-player in Modern Warfare 3, will be a story attempting to make sense of what transpired in Modern Warfare 2.
No, I have virtually no interest.

I'm curious to see how it turns out, but I'm not optimistic.
Treyarch CoDs suck ass, and Infinity Ward lost half it's people.
If I decide to buy it it will be used from Gamestop so I can return it, or my son will buy it with his own money and I'll borrow it for free.

But the current day Infinity Ward isn't the same Infinity war that made the past 2 games, so at this point I don't even consider their involvement a draw. The last CoD game I will probably ever be hyped for was MW2, at this point they'd really have to show me something new and impressive to win me over, but knowing how these things work it'll probably more of the same.

Nah, I still haven't gotten around to playing "BlOps".  I will eventually, but it's not super important anymore.
I'm more curious to see what comes out of Respawn Entertainment if anything that is.  They seem to be more focused on the various lawsuits these days.  If their eventual game turns out to be just another cookie-cutter FPS set in WWII or modern times, I'll be very disappointed.

I can't say I'm excited, but I'm certainly looking forward to see whether or not they can perfect the Modern Warfare formula. I feel like MW2 and Blops had both big upsides and big downsides compared to CoD 4 (which was mostly just upside), and if they can take what they've done in MW2 and Blops, cut out the shit that got everyone pissed off, and make another solid experience, I'll probably enjoy it a lot.

Also, I do want to see what happens to Soap and Price.

Hell to the hell no. I'll play it if someone I know gets it. But I'm not awaiting the title with bated breath. In fact, I do wait for its arrival with a loathing hatred.

I really do think CoD has some great things to offer, despite the hatred it has started to garner over the past couple of years.  I don't know what team will be handling it this year, and that will probably influence how the game turns out, but I am definitely very interested to see what emerges at E3.  I really do hate that the property is attached to Activision, as I'm sure Bobby is going to run the franchise into the ground as the trends with Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk have shown; it's a shame.  For some reason I often see its multiplayer compared to Bad Company 2's, despite them being paced very differently, and I feel like there should be a place for both the frenetic arcade-y action of CoD and the more team-oriented, coordinated play of Battlefield.  So I selected A, and I really hope whoever is making the next game finds a way to recapture the magic that made everyone fall in love with CoD 4 in 2007(?).  It would warm my heart, as I find the fast, crazy multiplayer of CoD extremely fun, as well as the random nonsense that it inevitably leads to, haha.

MASS EFFECT 3!
And then Modern Warfare will be cool too. I love Call of Duty but after playing Mass Effect 2, i'd much rather see a sequel to that game than COD.

The half of Infinity Ward that didn't leave is still there, so probably the people that don't really matter, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software are also helping to get the game out on schedule.

Loved CoD4. MW2 and black ops is just more of the same, but worse. So, no, of course not. Im really starting to hate sequels, rarely are they as good as the original.

I am not excited for any purely first person shooting games. I can't say I ever have been. The closest would be Borderlands.

In-between, I'll definitely look into it and maybe buy it, MW2 was better than most said, even I hated it at first and only just got back into it.
