I used to consider myself an Atheist. But on contemplation... that seems like a near impossible way to think. I have no real evidence for or against most religious beliefs, therefore I cannot brand any sector of it as false. So I am Agnostic.

Wait, who's us? Are you atheist or agnostic? It'd help to know. I'll start by saying mine: atheist. I won't say why exactly, but I will say that egotism plays a large part in it.

I've found that in many online outlets, Atheists always seem to outnumber any religion... maybe that's a good indication of how lame most religious people are when it comes to online outlets... also could mean that atheists are a bit prouder of their religious beliefs(or lack of, chill out).
A good topic for some kind of survey if I was a surveyor.
Agnostic with a strong leaning towards atheism. The way I see it, I get annoyed when believers say without a doubt there is a God, so how can I say/know for sure that there isn't one. In my opinion, an extreme stance on either side is, in the grand scheme of things, an ignorant assumption based on how little we know.
I will say this, though: If there is some sort of "intelligent being," I'm 99.99% sure it has zero to do with any of the organized religions, and I'm certainly not going to lead my life based off of a story written 2000+ years ago without any further evidence than said story.

Before a dick atheist quotes Ricky Gervais or something to respond to this, I would just add the following in defense of this position.
If you're really deciple to scientific inquiry and the scientific process and respect the established scientific laws and theories, then you already know that once you ask why a handful of times in a row you're left in a gaping void that we're nowhere near filling. And if you're a reasonable scientist, you can admit that you don't have a clear answer so you would be open to the possibility of any theory. One of those is everything always existing, another is nothing turning into everything for no good reason, and the third is a being or substance or whatever beyond our established universal laws setting the catalyst. And they all completely conflict with every established scientific law, completely. If you take any one of those options off the table, then, you're not abiding the scientific process and I would suggest you put your fat ego aside and reevaluate because your rigid smugly dismissive dogma has no place in progress.
