I don't think people give a shit about Avril Lavigne. Rather, I think they hate the idea of Avril Lavigne. The way she's so present in our lives despite the fact that we don't care for her one bit. Things like this thread are what we hate, but since that concept is too vague, it's easier to just say "Avril Lavigne".
