I was randomly watching the Crunchyroll Christmas Special from 2015 and did a double take when Ben Pack showed up in one of the skits.
Maybe I missed this mentioned somewhere before but I had no idea that Ben was once employed at Crunchyroll.

This is super silly, and also terribly acted. I love it. I also didn't know Ben was there, that's awesome! That would explain how he will sometimes bring up relatively obscure anime in the middle of conversations =) Thank you for this find!!
I was born in 1994 and I totally had One Must Fall and Doom on floppies. Also Ben's deadpan delivery/butchering of those phrases had me in stitches.
I know it's just a joke but most of the people born in the '90's did see and use floppy disks as kids. It's people born in the year 2000 and later who might view them as ancient history (reminder: People born in the year 2000 will be starting their final semester of high school in January).
For me personally, my parents got a computer in 2001 that had a floppy drive in it and we used that floppy drive quite a bit. I think I finally just tossed that thing in the garbage a decade later, although we stopped using floppy disks long before that.
Are we talking 3 1/2 or 5 1/4? That’s the real question. I know we’re not talking 8 inches.

All right, you got me. That is the real question. I'm not a hundred percent sure if I've ever seen anything bigger than 3 1/2, though if I did see a 5 1/4 or a right and proper 8 incher, I'd know what it is right off the bat.
EDIT: Born 1991, if that makes a difference.
I knew that Danika worked there since she mentioned it in passing on the Miiverse stream, but this is news to me. Huh.
Doesn't matter, Jason is still the Official Giant Bomb Anime Editor for me.
But, but, but... Crunchy Roll advertises on the podcasts (I think, it used to but I'm premium now)
How can he advertise impartially? What a disgrace. I demand full disclosure on every mention of anime from now on, and for it to be edited into every piece of content retrospectively. Anything less would make this post sarcastic hyperbole and firmly tongue in cheek.
@sergio: That may be the case, I was just assuming he used to work at Crunchyroll since all the other people in the video are employees (except Mike Toole, who is an employee of anime in general).
I like how they made that floppy disk as big as a dinner plate so it would not be completely dwarfed by Ben.

This post has been here for about 14 hours and not a single dick joke. Shame on all of you.
Okay, I lost it when they just kept Ben's botched line in, cut to "Katherine" looking at him like he's a fool and then just let Ben redo the line.
@justin258: Yeah I mean I was born in 91 and as a kid played games on floppy disks on an old IBM PC that my dad had. Similarly I played on a NES and Master System when I was like 9-10 because my sisters still had theirs from when they were teens.
Stuff gets passed on so it's not too weird for people born in the 2000's to also grow up with those systems, though I guess much rarer.
Saw that Ben-nime skit (Get it) and loved it. I knew he worked at Destructoid before coming here, but I didn't know he worked at Crunchyroll. Also Crunchyroll keeping Ben's botched line is pretty hilarious.

I mean, I replied to it and was fully expecting a dick joke, but nobody made one. Does Giantbomb have too much class? Is that possible?
Started at the bottom now he's here.
Well, he was an intern here first, so... maybe his career path goes along more of a u-shaped curve.
Not surprised. Gotta make money somehow.

Anime is for jerks.
Don't know which got old first: "Anime is for jerks" or "Naked cartoon pussy."
Ever since Jeff got married he's really expanded his horizons and now absolutely loves anime. That's why he hired Ben, he needed someone with an expansive anime knowledge to rival his own and someone that could satisfy Brad's dota needs.
Ben really is the glue that hold's this crazy sandwich together!
