Birthday's are supposed to be happy right?

Today I turned 23. I feel old. I'm still in college and don't have a job for summer still which makes me stress. I guess that's what growing up is all about right? 
 
Anyway, my family isn't going to be celebrating it until Sunday so I figured I would treat myself to the first PSN game I ever purchased, Joe Danger. It's downloading now. I can't wait to play it. I'll have a blog on my thoughts of it later along with my birthday/summer plans.

I don't recall ever having a fun b-day. Something always made it terrible.

I've had a shit birthday for as long as I can remember and I remedied it by not having one this year and I felt much better about everything.

They're cool when they mean you can do new shit  - like drive a car or fight terrorists - but after that they're depressing as fuck.  Yay, I'm older!  Ugh.

Any day that is expected to be good is often shit. I just approach birthdays, christmas, valentines day etc as any other day, helps avoid disappoinment and makes surprises way more super happy fun time!
 
But, saying that, Happy Birthday and I hope it's a good 'un! Oh, and 23 better not be considered old, I'm turning that come February!

My birthday is usually the same as most other days. I got to see the space shuttle launch this year, which was amazing, but I would have went even if it wasn't my birthday.

I enjoy birthdays because I get free stuff a.k.a. gifts.  I don't celebrate or have a party or anything (don't have any friends so it wouldn't even be much of a party), but it's nice to receive gifts and stuff you like.  Also it's an excuse to eat cake.  I like cake. 
 
And, *points and laughs*, you're sooo old!  Hahahaha!

It's also my birthday today, I've done nothing but treat myself to cold pizza for breakfast.

Some people would kill to be in college/have a chance to go to college - so yeah,just remember that when you get down about things.
