Can vegetarians eat animal crackers?

This question has been plaguing me for days. Does anyone have a real answer?

They can, but they probably won't. It isn't made of any meat so there is nothing wrong with them although they are shaped like animals.

Not if the crackers are made of animals.

They can't, it's against the vegetarian religion, they would be smitten by the Lettuce God if they did.

I asked one of my vegetarian friends. She said yes, but you have to say a special chant before you start eating them.

I'm vegetarian,

A true vegan would not eat them if they were made out of dairy products like milk and egg. Otherwise I'll eat  animal crackers with simulated animal blood and organs. I'll also eat human crackers :|

I have a few vegetarian friends that have no problem with animal crackers.
