Can you solve a Rubix cube?

No I can't solve a rubix cube. I always threw them against the wall after playing with it for 30 minutes. :(

Nope. I can't even solve a simple math problem. 1 + 1 = 11.. They always tell me I'm wrong. :(

No, I have a friend though who can solve it under 45 seconds blindfolded. I've seen him do it numerous times before; pretty unbelieveable.

Blindfolded?   O_o  No matter how it's been put out of order? Or does it have to be a certain way?

There used to be a pretty big rubik's cube fad at my school last year, and lots of people were able to solve them. Once you know the basic strategy/pattern for solving one, it's not that difficult. There are some much more difficult rubiks cubes though, like 5x5 instead of 3x3, or ones that twist diagonally as well as up/down left/right.

Yeah - 2's, 3's, 4's and 5's.  People noticed I liked the regular one and just kept buying me more.

I cannot. And I'm studying to become a Nuclear Engineer !  :O But yeah... I've played with a few usually 15 min at a time ... have never solved one.

I've only tried a real Rubik's cube once, and that was for about 5 minutes.  The ones I used were some trashy Star Wars ones from boxes of cereal.

I've been tought how to do it by a mate of mine. If you get the strategy down pat its actually quite easy. But if you just fumble around you will take forever to do it.

I can finish it between 1-2 mins, my fastest time was almost exactly 60 seconds.

I can't, but I think there is a trick to it.  So if I figured out the trick I'm sure I'd get it.
