Wow..that looks good. del Torro is always a good actor and Che was a fascinating figure in history.

I hope this movie is as good as the trailer. Anyone else interested?

Che was very fascinating, he fought for the horrible conditions in Cuba today, and was so bad at everything he did afterward that Castro sent him out of the country. Socialism needs any hero it can get, I guess.

I'm super curious about this flick.  There was a lot of mixed opinion at Cannes about it, and that's got me interested like crazy.  Benicio is pretty much a certified badass, so I'm pretty sure he could totally pull this off.

I gotta add this one next to Mongol, which I still haven't seen but REALLY want to.

I plan on watching this in the near future, it looks very interesting. Plus, Benicio Del Toro is a fantastic actor and i'm sure he could live up to what someone would expect from him playing one of the most recognizable figures of the past century.

Che fascinates me. Not so much the man, but the myth and marketing empire that has emerged around him after his death.

Everything you wrote, except the first four words, is wildly inaccurate. Try reading some history rather than spouting propaganda. FYI he is on the face of a Cuban coin...you don't memorialize incompetent people that way.
To put some perspective on what I mean Nelson Mandella called him an 'inspiration to every human who loves freedom'.

This is ironic isn't it? I wonder whose idea that was...I don't think Che would have approved.

I completely forgot this movie was being made, I guess it's out now, very limited release I'm sure.

Thanks for the reminder.
