My son is in the marines he just got stationed in japan . Iam trying to put adownloaded widgit clock on my desktop they all set the time to my desktop . That is not what i want .I want to be able to set the clock to what i want.Thanks for any advice

We still have soldiers stationed in Germany and other locations around the world. Mainly for security reasons or to have troops there in case anything happens around the area.

No, Lets say North Korea attacks Japan and Japan happens to be our allies. If we have troops stationed there we can assist our allies if they get attacked.
If you're using OSX, there are simple Widgets available for this. I recommend TimeMap. Or iStat Menus (free/donation) offers that in the menu bar plus a whole lot more. If you're using Windows, I'm sure there are plenty of similar applications available to do the same thing, but you'd have to give us more informationa bout what OS/version you're using and what (if any) application you're trying to do this on. I don't recall any OS (linux/windows/osx) having an inherent multipleclock feature, though.
@OmegaPirate: Maybe that's what I'm thinking of...I'm pretty sure he's mentioned having a young daughter as well though. Maybe he's just lost track of the loose narrative thread he's been trying to weave through all of his trolling posts.
I was just wondering how make the clock on your desktop, stay on the time that it is. I have it on the right time...but there are times when I look at it and its way off....I dont get it.

I did, and it was rather funny to see how many locked threads he has. Anyway a week ago he said he had a marine son going to japan so at least he can hold this part of the story. Maybe he's taking notes now.
