I notice the strapline for your podcast is: "The Ironically Named Pop Culture Podcast". I wonder if you could explain this irony; is it the weekly format of the podcast? Should you be drawing attention to the irony of a title in a subtitle?
You also mention the "explosive" nature of the podcast. Could you possibly elaborate on whether this dynamism is due to anger, revelation, combustion, or hyperbole please?
Should you be mentioning the "unedited" nature of the podcast as a feature of it? It may mean raw and edgy to some, but smacks of lazy and amateur to me.
Oh. I thought "counterculture" in that sense didn't have a space, or had a dash at best. So I'm sure you can understand my confusion with your error, in thinking of other sorts of "counter", like tables, chips, or mathematicians.
Oh. Do you think it wise to admit to such exaggeration in your advertisement?
I'm still not sold on the "fluffs" idea, since editing typically involves more than deletion. For example, my computers are not able to read m4a files, so I guess some editing could be done in providing more accessible file types.

In terms of podcasts, editing most certainly means deletion, albeit thought-out deletion that flows with the rest of the podcast, but still deletion. Also, I'm absolutely flabbergasted that you thought of a table-like surface when reading "counter culture"!...and oh yeah, no form of audio editing would ever affect file types. They're totally different ball games!...And how does your computer not support .m4a?! What rock are you living under?!
"Okay, so you all know this, if your computer doesn't support .m4a...Get the hell off the internet. "No.
And I guess you're not going to do anything about it?
@100_Hertz:
...dude, I hope you can read! Editing means much more than deletion - at least it does if done right. I can and do convert formats while editing my music (in Pro Tools), so I guess you simply don't know too much about editing to have a view.
I guess your flabberghhastedness comes from your original spelling error, and perhaps from a lack of understanding for the uses of the language, where a "counter" can mean a "surface".
M4A files are far less common than mp3 files, as evidenced by popular podcasts like Giantbomb and Eurogamer. My machine's inability to read these files is not unusual, so perhaps you should make your podcast available to more people instead of getting all self-righteous about your formats.
Gentlemen, gentlemen, let's not be little bitches and start a flame war in this podcast thread. Let's be mature adults in this situation and chill the fuck out.
@diz: Stop overthinking things. We get it, you think the podcast is dumb. Quit trying to tell us in excruciating detail WHY you don't like it. No matter how many big words you use, you do not (and WILL not) sound smart; in fact, you sound just the opposite.
As Jensonb said, get the hell off MY internet.
End of discussion.
Finally, I seem to have met the arbiter of understanding and etiquette around here.
But let's be clear - I've not heard the podcast, let alone expressed any preference as to liking it, or thinking it dumb. You may have noticed that I haven't been able to hear it at all!
Your resorting to ad-hominem attacks and swearing is quite revealing to me. Is that really your photo in your avatar? Unlucky!
Firstly, file formats have absolutely nothing to do with actual waveform editing. You chose file formats when you bounce a project. You should know that as a supposed user of Pro Tools.@100_Hertz: ...dude, I hope you can read! Editing means much more than deletion - at least it does if done right. Secondly, concerning my "spelling error": http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/flabbergast
Thirdly, I have absolutely no affiliation with the "Counter Culture Weekly" podcast.

1) File formats are selected at the start of an editing session ( - in Pro Tools its mandatory!)
2) The speilling issue I was referring to was the missing dash in "Counter Culture", not "flabbaghast".
3) Thanks for letting me know of your associations - my mistake.
I thought I'd clarify things here to avoid further insult being taken, where none was intended.

I use Logic now and haven't used Pro Tools in a while, and forgot that you choose the file format, bit rate, sample rate, etc. when making a new session...my mistake.
