I've always thought that Joe Cocker's version of With A Little Help From My Friends was vastly superior to the Beatles. (And apparently hard to find on youtube without some 'misheard lyrics' overlay...)
And The Beatles were on record saying that was the only cover of their work they liked.
Is it still a cover if it is a cover by the original band?...guess not. But this version of "No Rain" i love much more than the bumble bee prancing original.
VH1 had blind Melon as one of the best "one hit wonders of the 90s" and quite frankly that is idiotic. You don't make 3 albums and then get an additional album release after your frontman dies if you're a one hit wonder.
I also doubt if you're a one hit wonder you got signed for Woodstock...just saying.
