In case you guys haven't seen it, here's the trailer for the new Winnie the Pooh movie. I don't know why, but I'm so excited for this movie and I'm not ashamed of that.
Does anyone else want to see this now or am I just strange?

I don't know how good it's going to turn out, but at least it's not some 3D abomination. That's good enough for me.
Wow, Pooh is a lot less willing to put up with people's shit, this time around. He tells Tigger to stop being such a methhead, grammar Nazis all over owl, and his response to a swarm of bees is, "Oh, fuck, not this again." Has Eeyore been teaching him how not to be interested in life at all?
" I love the artwork. I love the fact that they aren't changing the art and making it CGI. Also, thank god for no 3D! "if its gonna be in 3D i would boycott disney for its bullshit.... i mean whats so great about 3D? i dont even notice it after the first 15 minutes
Wow, I can't believe the warm feeling of nostalgia that washed over me. I think I shed a tear.
EDIT: Also, surprisingly relevant choice for a song.
Urgh, Keane. Ignoring that, having Craig Ferguson as Owl is the icing on the cake for me. This looks excellent and I can pretty much already tell I will cry at the end.
Thank you for sharing this, I did not know about this till now. My heart feels warmer because of it. Though, my cynical side tells me this isn't going to live up to my expectations much like the new Winnie the Pooh stories didn't. *sigh* Growing up makes me feel like eeyore.
I love Winny the Pooh so this looks real promising.
The old stuff is still a good standby for when my nephew comes to visit, and I found it can be really funny when you think they're all tripping on drugs.
" So happy to see Disney finally going back to what made them so great in the first place. However, I'm not digging the British voice for Christopher Robin. I know it's probably true to the character, but that is not the voice of that kid. "Yes it is. YES IT IS. You can gtfo if you think Christopher MF'ing Robin should have an american accent.
Why would someone feel ashamed of liking disney films? Their awesome. You say it like it's strange to the majority of people to like stuff that are there to appeal to family, not just children. Either way, it's awesome. Buuuut, I didn't know about Winnie the pooh pooh movie coming out.
I hope the movie doesn't end like real life. Where Chrisotpher Robin hates his father for using his real name in the books and ends up marrying his cousin.
It's weird how we live in a world where a movie being classically animated is more prized than CG animation. I remember 10 years ago people proclaiming quite happily the death of hand-drawn animation in favour of the "vastly superior" computer generated stuff.
IT'S BEEN A LONG ROAAAAAAD!
He tells Tigger to stop being such a methheadFuck, I've never looked at it like this before, but Tigger is a total methhead, isn't he? Gets all fucking spun out and hops around...
Not doing for me, but then again i wasn't the biggest Pooh fan when i was younger.
Wish they would make a new Lion King or something instead, or Tarzan just because i want some more Phil Collins songs.
I'm excited for a return to a more traditional art style, also, omg Winnie the poooooooo. Eyeore sounds like the old man from Up .
The art looks great, but I don't have a nostalgic pull from that trailer. Most of my WTP was when I was about two or three years old, and I had a break with him thanks to one of the newer movies when I was about six. I'll probably see it if people like the final product, but I don't really expect much at the moment.
I watched that trailer twice and both times I chuckled when Eyore walked into that tree and *siiiiiiiiiiiiiiighed* :D
Now I don't hate 3D animation or anything, I think it looks awesome, but I wish that they would still make more classical animation stuff like this.
