Did You Know - Amazon Prime Is Free For ALL College Students?

Did you know that Amazon Prime is free for anyone who has an .edu email address?  You can already link your current Amazon account to do it and won't need to make a new account.  I for one just found this out and I for one have been pissed.

(THIS IS NOT TRUE) You can now get Netflix quality streaming for free if you don't have Netflix. (THIS IS NOT TRUE) I just need it for the motherfucking' free shipping and the specials.  But yeah, check it out.

    You only need a valid .edu email, and it works for Alumni.  It worked for me. 

Signed up a while ago, saves me tons on shipping textbooks (usually).

Yeah, I did this at the beginning of the semester. It's been very helpful. Isn't it only free for a year though?

I knew that, been using it for a while now... hopefully not close to a year though! But still more people should get in on the crazy good shipping, I practically order everything online now.

I signed up back in the fall. Once I transfer, I can probably just sign up again with the new .edu email address.

Nope, since that service doesn't exists out side of the .com amazon, and I can't use that site because they never ship to me, or when they do I have to pay a small fortune in shipping fees.

Yeah, I use it more just to save on records and shit then actual textbooks.

Yup only free for a year, but It has really grown on me for the year I have had it, so I think I will be signing up after my free trail runs out. 

Yeah, unfortunately my school doesn't use .edu email addresses. I've gone back and forth with Amazon about this a bit and, even though they list the school on their site, they still won't accept it. Lame. Grats to those who can use it though.

Anyone know if Canadian schools count? We don''t have edu though.
