Are you the type to run from a large gathering, such as a giant party? I prefer semi-quiet places. I don't like large nightclubish type atmospheres. How about you?
Do you avoid large crowds?
I don't mind large gatherings, though i avoid large events (concerts, festivals...), as if the show is good it packs too much people. The distance to the spectacle, and the smell of sweat, the hot air emanating from the crows, the lack of space and the constant shoving makes me uneasy and nervous. For me it isn't worth it...
I like being alone or in large groups better than being in small groups. In small groups you are kind of expected to talk, even if you don't like the people you are with. Nothing is worse than talking to people you dislike. Add on to that the fact that the topic of conversation is never intelligent. At least with large groups you don't have to chit chat since there are enough other people to talk amongst themselves. That way I can just sit there and drink.

This. If i really know people, for instance people I work with, it's much easier. But if it's strangers or nosy aquaintances , I feel pretty much the same. Conversations you listen in on are usually hilarious later though, but mostly just make me ask myself: 'what was I thinking going out of my way for this', lol. Small meet-ups with yur best, closest friends, are always so much more fun. Laughing at strangers or idiots(sorry)in the process, even makes things more hilarious. Now........I got peeps to call.:-p.
It depends. If I know a lot of the people, then I love large crowds. Dance-focused clubs and such aren't too bad, as everyone is supposed to not really know anyone there. The things I hate are when friends or relatives take me to house parties that are just their friends and people who know each other. I usually end up sticking near that one person that I know (which makes me feel like a dirt bag) or just sitting on a couch drinking or something until some fat chick tries to hit on me.

I believe that when more than 10 people gather in the same place, weird things happen to their minds, they act differently, all social in a scary way...
I enjoy music festivals and clubbing, so generally no. Large swarms of people in shopping outlets are a major turn-off, though.
However, it usually depends on the actual crowd. I hate chavs, so wouldn't be seen dead in a meat-market bar/club.
I always avoid crowds, unless of course I'm trying to disappear from the local constabulary. Then things get weird and the group and I go all sepia toned.
Seriously though, yeah. I am not a fan of large gatherings of people (that goes for online too which is why I tend to stay out of forums). Anything more than about 4 or 5 people and I get nervous, that's even if they are friends.
Yeah i've never been the type of guy to enjoy a huge crowd of people unless I know them. It gets too rediculous otherwise (-_-)
I definetely avoid large groups of people. I just feel really uncomfortable if there is a high density of people. Anytime i go into the city and have to ride the subway or something i just feel uneasy. Probably has to do with me growing up in the suburbs, i feel uncomfortable if there is a too low density of people as well.
When dead rising first came out, 2 days after i went to a fair around where i live and i thought hmmm zombies, holy eff look at that tractor i bet i could wait wut lawl

"Heh, pretty much the opposite to me. I like going to concerts, but actual gatherings with lots of people, nthx.
