I collect videogames (duh) and pictures/drawings of redheaded guys/gals.
Do you collect anything? (Question of the Day 8-28-10)
Nope, pure bloody red.
Anything less then pure red ain't redhead to me.
Go haunt a light tower if you're a ginger for all I care!
If so, what is it i you collect and why?
I collect videogames, comic books, coins, vinyl records and CD EP as well as CD's in general . . . though that's more of a growing "collection" so I guess that's different.
Videogames is obvious. I LOVE them. I love to own complete games, particularly retro ones, I love to buy games I think will become rare and I love to collect games or systems that are little known or that few people have (such as my complete Virtual Boy set with 9 complete games and a prototype cart).
I love to collect coins because I love to think about how old they are and what they have been through. I also love to see the artwork. I need ten more State Quarters and I'll have the whole set. I also own a 1935 Buffalo Nickle.
Comic Books, I love to collect issues numbered #0 or 1 or an early set. So I have DC vs Marvel 1-4, I have Rogue #1, Storm #1, Death of Superman, Doomsday, Superman Returns, the issue he went lightning, I have Pokemon #1.... etc.
As far as Vinyls, I just think they are cool collector's items. My collection is small and I only collect for the Christian bands I'm into (so it's all metal). And I don't yet own a record player but I'll get one at some point. And CD EPs are the same thing. :)
I could care less, but they shouldn't be under the thought that I have any interest in them.
Orange is orange, orange ain't red.

wow duder, we totally hijacked your topic before you started it off xD
Other than video games, I collect sea shells, stuffed animals, pictures of cute things, scarves, shoes, handbags, swimwear, and hoodies. I have far too many of all of these things. It's a bit ridiculous really.
Rofl!
No, I will not.
That's a bit to off topic, even for the off topic forums!
Just watch my background/icon closely and you might see a few pass by xD
Terrorists?...Uh, yea, terrorists ...
I'm not a bro, bro, thought you knew by now? xD
And hmm, maybe I will, people could expand my collection with their own pretty pictures!
" I've tried many times, but I'm not persistent enough. "Same here. I guess video games are the only thing I've ever stuck with. To be fair tthough, I just started keeping all my games a couple years ago. I plan to keep it up though; I was always so sad after shamelessly selling a game.
Only on Giant Bomb! xD
I'll make it when I get back from my sister's place, there's a wedding to be planned!
Batteries.
I believe that in the future they will be currency and someone will find the big ass bag of battries in my room while scavenging the wastes of what will be our nuclear apocalyptic world and will be able to buy a new house.
I only have around 100 right now, but that is probably just through 2 years of collecting them. Honestly I just want to be the guy that collects something mundane and shows people how cool they think they are because of it.
I collect video games like alot of people will respond I am sure, but maybe different than others I am collecting old games. Games from the NES, SNES, Genesis, TurboGrafx-16 era. I just picked up Metal Gear, PaperBoy, Talespin and R.C. Pro-Ame all for teh NES today at a Flea Market.
I also collect old game systems too. I recently found a 3DO console in perfect shape and a Philips CD-i at the Flea Market too.
I labeled Ice Cream half gallon containers this summer and collected the cardboard rings that the labels were attached to

Collecting in general I think makes a person more interesting, gives them more to talk about, a hobby, and a kind of "goal" that they enjoy working towards. I would love to collect seashells now that you mention it!
Yes and no. I have a ton of movies and games, but they usually haven't been purchased with the intention of just collecting. Collecting for the sake of collecting is stupid, and a waste of money.
" @TaliciaDragonsong: I'm in. I got loads of red heads from animu and mangos. Do it. I'll add 'em sis. Only on Giant Bomb, talk about making threads inside threads. "BASTARDS! :P

Oh you are hardly the only one. Sometime soon here I'm gonna take pictures of my collection. I have a full Nintendo Virtual Boy set with 9 complete games, and have around 10 boxed NES games, around 5 or so boxed Game Boy games, a few Genesis, 1 Game Gear, about 10 Intellevision, etc. It's fun and awesome. :D

" pokeman cards, anyone wanna trade? "
Hahahahaha. Believe it or not, I actually would like to start that up soon given that I know have a disposable income. And I still have my original set of cards from the first run sets including foils. :)
