Do you have online friends?

I think it's a little weird to be really close with people you don't have any idea who they really are.

Ha, yeah I do... Though I have seen pictures and/or heard most of them over voice chat.

I've never been tight friends with anyone on the net ever.  I have a real life friend who's the exact opposite.  Meeting people in other states, talking with them on the phone for years...

one.. but i prefer real life friends.

I have 6 online friends and 3 IRL friends, but some of the online friends have started interacting with me IRL, so that doesn't seem as depressing.

A good friend of mine has a hot cousin and I talked to her on AIM for a while, I eventually went out with her for about a month. I don't know if that counts. Aside from that, no. I don't like to get close with strangers.

I met this dude called Ryan in my first Halo 3 multiplayer match (a year ago), since then we have talked to each other pretty much every day, and we're always in the same game :)

I'm very good friends with a few people on here. Even without ever having met them in reality.

Not really. There are people I've talked to on msn and such, but thats it.

I used to when I was about 14-16. I got really close to a group of people I knew only online. I grew out of it though.

I like to think everyone on GiantBomb are all my friends, except for the mods....jk

I have plenty of online friends and I don't find it weird to be close to them at all. I talk more to some of my online friends than I talk with my family sometimes, so they feel really close to me.

Sort of. I'm into the whole Marxism-Leninism thing. So, the internets is used for a lot of activism, organization and all of that stuff.

more like a pen pal of sorts.
